I love the snow! and I can't even express my excitement at how much snow we have in pittsburgh. you may remember me writing about how much I wanted a white Christmas here. well friends, we have lots and lots of snow covering the ground and oh my goodness is it beautiful! it's truly one of God's loveliest creations. so many fun things come with the snow... sled-riding, snow angels, building snowmen, and of course, warming up with hot chocolate by the fire afterwards. oh I love winter! here are some pretty pictures from my snowy pennsylvania... :)

for the past few years over Christmas break I have been able to do one of my very favorite things of the season... ski in the pretty Colorado mountains covered in fresh powder snow. oh, it's glorious! and the best part is some of my best friends in the world go too! sadly, this year I am not able to go, which stinks, but I must admit I'm looking forward to a few extra days that I'll get to spend with my family in our winter wonderland!
now its time for that hot chocolate and fireplace!
